MCHP AISIN model GECC60A2N combined heat and power unit.

Cogeneration is based on the use of electricity and heat in order to maximize the use of the chemical energy of the fuel.

Technical data:

  •    4-stroke, 3-cylinder, 952 cm3, water-cooled natural gas combustion engine,
  •    power generator: 6kW, 50Hz, 230V single-phase synchronous generator,
  •    electrical efficiency 28.8%, thermal efficiency 56.2%, total efficiency 85%,
  •    the heat comes from the cooling the engine block, cooling the oil sump and exhaust gas.

GAHP-A ROBUR heat pump.

GAHP-A gas absorption heat pump. The lower heat source is air, the heat is removed from the air by means of a lamella exchanger. An absorption heat pump works by absorbing the refrigerant ammonia in water, using a thermal compressor instead of a mechanical one.

Technical data:

  • burner nominal power 25.2 kW,
  • nominal heating power 38.3 kW,
  • solution pump power consumption 0.9 kW.

Genao Stirling engine.

It is a thermal engine that converts heat into mechanical energy, without combustion of the fuel.

Technical data:

  • Stirling engine speed 600 rpm,
  • power of the electric generator 1kW,
  • 188cc displacement
  • working temperature 750ºC,
  • adapted to continuous operation,
  • working gas nitrogen or helium.

HT 18C Thermo-Electric Heat Pump.

The device uses a Peltier cell to transfer heat from the colder surface to the warmer one. The Peltier cell is used to cool electronic systems, in car refrigerators and in the space industry.
