Kipp & Zonen's SOLYS 2 Sun Tracker.

The sun tracker performs automated measurements of the intensity of total and direct solar radiation, long-wave thermal radiation of the atmosphere, diffusion radiation using Kipp & Zonen sensors installed on the Solys 2 solar tracking system. The tracker is installed on the roof of the L-27 building. All measurement data is automatically saved in text files on the hard drive of the computer.

POM-01 Sky Radiometer PREDE for testing aerosols in the atmosphere.

The tests of optical properties of aerosols present in the atmosphere are carried out with the use of the PREDE POM-01 skyradiometer which measures the intensity of solar radiation in seven narrow wavelength ranges from 315 to 1020 nm and for different angles to the current position of the sun in the sky. This allows the conclusion of the aerosol optical thickness, scattering coefficients and the statistics of aerosol particle size distribution.

Vaisala Weather Station WXT520.

The Vaisala WXT520 weather station measures basic meteorological parameters. Air temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure are measured by capacitive sensors whose electrical capacity changes proportionally to the measured values. The data on the speed and direction of the wind is provided by an ultrasonic anemometer operating on the basis of the fact that the time of the acoustic wave travel varies depending on whether it is traveling "with the wind" or "against the wind". Accumulation and intensity of rainfall and hail are measured by a piezoelectric sensor, which reacts to changes in kinetic energy transmitted to the measuring disc by drops or particles of hail.

CSD3 Sunshine Duration Sensor.

The sensor measures the time of direct solar operation, which has been defined by WMO as conditions with direct sunlight intensity above 120W/m2. Built-in heater removes deposits such as dew or icing from the surface of the device. The results are presented as the number of sunny minutes in relation to the length of the day calculated on the basis of the relationship for the Sun's path through the sky.

System for measuring the temperature profile in the ground 10 meters in depth and 2.5 meters above the ground.

The system is used to compare the temperature profiles in the undisturbed area and in the heat pump's heat pump heat exchanger area.

Photovoltaic system.

A photovoltaic system consisting of 2 monocrystalline photovoltaic collectors with a capacity of 95W each and 2 amorphous photovoltaic collectors with a capacity of 60W each. These collectors are located on a uniaxial system that follows the sun. DC electricity is sent to the Soladin 600 inverter with a nominal power of 600W and converted into AC 230V. The Soladin 600 records real-time parameters such as collector power, power fed into the grid, inverter efficiency, collector voltage and current, as well as voltage, current and frequency at the output, inverter temperature, and sums up the 24-hour electricity yield in kWh.
